Here at Burrough Green Playgroup we provide pre-school education for children between 2 years old to 5 years old.
Burrough Green Playgroup is set in the beautifully restored 17th Century schoolhouse in the grounds of Burrough Green Primary School. Playgroup is very well equipped with plenty of room for varied and stimulating learning experiences such as water and sand play, construction, table-top activities, plus a large home corner. We have a large outdoor play area with lots of stimulating resources for the children to enjoy. There is a warm, friendly atmosphere with experienced staff working under the banner of the distinctive rocking horse logo. Due of the strong links to Burrough Green school, playgroup provides the children with a wonderful start to their education. Our aspirations for the children in our care are that they are active, curious and excited learners, absorbing and processing information and skills in order to understand the world around them, to be able to communicate, express themselves and approach challenges positively. Our practitioners support children to feel safe and secure so that this can be achieved for each child as an individual. If you live or work in the Newmarket or Haverhill area, Burrough Green Playgroup provides high quality care and pre-school education for your children. We work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop and we offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity.
